Project Immersion is a set of After Effects scripts that enabled artists to place actors from 2D footage into 3D space. These tools were used to produce “¡No al veneno!” (No to Poison!), a short film by Cine C.A.R.E.T.A.S. Inc. that tells the story of a girl whose dreams reveal that the “magical candy” sold by a peer at her school is actually drug contaminated.

No to Poison! was the first Puerto Rican film to use 3D virtual sets for some of its scenes, and it achieved this on a very limited budget. It’s been officially selected to various international film festivals, including the International Film Festival of Odisha and the GardenCity International Film Festival in Bangalore, India.
